First Responder of the Future

The First Responder of the Future project was officially launched in October of 2014 but has been a topic of interest to the IAB for many years. Although this project is identified as short-term, its members will continue to meet on an ad-hoc basis to address certain requests.
Mission

The First Responder of the Future Special Project is looking at the needs and wants of the first responder community 20 years from now. The group is exploring each responder individually, law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical service, as well as what responders may need collectively. As part of this project, the group is identifying what future threats may look like as well.
