Guidance for Non-Law Enforcement Ballistic Protection

The Guidance for Non-Law Enforcement Ballistic Protection project was officially launched in October of 2014 and should be completed within a year.
Mission

The Guidance for Non-Law Enforcement Ballistic Protection Special Project focuses on the need for ballistic protection in the fire and emergency medical services. This includes guidance on when to utilize the protection, what level of protection is needed, how equipment should be purchased, and decision processes and risk assessments.
